‘Nicaragua after the attempted coup’
Speaker: Louise Richards
Trade Union and Communications Co-ordinator, Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign Action Group
Portrayed in the mainstream media as a spontaneous movement against a corrupt government, the coup attempt had very different origins and support.
Basing her talk on actual reports from on the ground in Nicaragua, Louise will be challenging the right wing’s version of events and addressing the rebuilding job that now faces the Nicaraguan government.
